Minster Milers group runs are on Wednesdays at 7pm from the Archie Gooch Pavilion, Canal Way, Ilminster.
We offer group runs for all abilities: a comfortably paced social 5k (37-45minutes), a faster 5k (30-35minutes) and a 10k (Just over an hour). Depending on availability of leaders we can sometimes also offer a longer run of around 8 miles at a pace of 8.30min/mile.
On the fourth Wednesday of the month we hold a Club 5k Handicap on a summer or winter route starting from Canal Way. Runners are set off at intervals according to their best 5k time, with the faster runners leaving last. Everyone arrives back at around the same time with the first member to cross the finish receiving a medal as well as a trophy to retain until the next month.
Our members regularly compete in local races, 10k to Ultras, triathlons and both road and trail routes.
We also have a busy social calendar and meet up for ad hoc runs hosted by a member on other days of the week.
